Roma is the administrative centre of the Maranoa and holds the largest cattle selling centre in the country. That shapes the cleaning work here more than the population figure suggests: the saleyards, the gas industry and the traffic heading north to Carnarvon Gorge all put people in short-stay and worker accommodation that has to be turned around between occupants, alongside the ordinary household work.

What is different about cleaning in the Maranoa

Much of the Maranoa washes with bore or artesian water, and it marks shower glass and tapware far faster than reticulated supply. It needs a descaler and dwell time rather than harder scrubbing, which is why we ask what your water source is at booking.
Turnover work as well as households
The saleyards, the gas hub at Wallumbilla and the tourist traffic through Injune and Mitchell mean a lot of the work here is changeovers — short-stay, worker accommodation and company housing — rather than weekly domestic visits.

Travel to the outer Maranoa towns is quoted with the job rather than added as a surprise line afterwards, and it is cheaper when your booking can be grouped with others on the same run. Ask when you book and we will tell you what the day looks like.
Can you do a bond clean in Roma?+
